Logo
To change or add a default logo, go to the Settings/Settings and change the logo from Logo section. That's the default logo of your website. If you have more than one language and you don't want to have default logo for a language, you can go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and select another logo for that language.
To change the default timezone, calendar or calendar format, go to the Settings/Settings. These settings will be default for all languages.
If you wish to have another settings for specific language, go to the Settings/Language, In the Language tab select your desired language and change settings for that language.
Point a Language to another website
You can forward a language to another website. For example, French language is in another domain and it's completely a different website. Go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab, select your desired language and fill the URL section. For example: http://example.com
If you fill the URL, all pages of that specific language will be forwarded to the specified URL.
You shouldn't use this method for default language.
Title
Title is the name of your website. To change that, go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and fill the title section.
Title Starts with and Ends with
You can change or add your title in all pages by filling the starts with and ends with. Go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and fill the Title Starts with and Title Ends with.
Title Starts with, appear at the start of the website title.
Title Ends with, appear at the end of the website title.
You can have one, both or none of them.
To change meta description of the index page for each language, go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and fill the Meta Description section.
To change Charset of the website for each language, go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and change the Meta Charset value.
Country
If you have a language for specific country and you want to have more search engine friendly website, you need to specify the country for that language. To do that, go to the Settings/Language. In the Language tab select your desired language and select a country for that language.
Search, Category, Tag and Author default pages
Core needs to know Search, Category, Tag and Author pages for each language. For example, on the front-end when you click on a tag name, the tag page showing up.
You should create search, category, tag and author page. We recommend to use Search Result widget from Maintools extension in those pages. Maintools is our free and default extension.
To create a page and set it as a default page:
1. Go to the Posts/Add Post. In text editor click on the Widget: Inpost Icon.
2. Click on the Main Tools: Search Result.
3. Give it a caption. For example: Tags Inpost Widget.
4. Now, fill settings as it should be for a tag page: Items Per Page to 10, Keyword: Type to Tag, Keyword: Position to Exactly.
5. Click on Insert.
6. Change the post type to Page and assign a language to the post.
7. Fill the Title as Tags. Also fill the Description and click on the Add button.
8. Go to the Settings/Language, and then Language tab. Select a language and find Page: Tag section. In the Page: Tag input box, type Tags. You should be able to select Tags.
9. Save.
Now if you click on a tag name in the front-end, tag page shows up and you see posts list related to that tag name.
The same procedure should be applied to the search, category and author page. You just need to change the page name and select Keyword: Type Categories or Add User in the Main Tools: Search Result inpost widget.
To change settings of the inpost widgets you can go to the Widgets/Widget Manager. Find the widget and click on the edit button.
