Default Maintenance Mode
If you want to make your website offline for the visitors, you need to put your website on maintenance mode. Go to the Settings/Settings. Find Maintenance Mode in the page.
Maintenance Mode
Select On to make your website offline for the visitors. You can change it to Off to make it online again.
Maintenance Mode: Duration
Time duration that search engines can come back when they see the site is on maintenance mode. You can set it from 1 hour to 24 hours.
Maintenance Mode: Content
Content of the page that website visitors see, when the website is on maintenance mode. You can use HTML tags here.
Default maintenance mode is the default for all languages. If any of your languages have other settings, that would be the result. For example, If you set the default maintenance mode to On and a language maintenance mode to Off. It means that language will not be in the maintenance mode.
Maintenance Mode for each language
If you want to make a language of your website offline, go to the Settings/Language. Select the Language tab and your desired language. Find Maintenance Mode in the page. You can set the Maintenance Mode settings. If you want to use default maintenance mode settings for specific language just choose Default.
Language maintenance mode settings will override the default maintenance mode settings. If you set a language maintenance mode to On when the default maintenance mode is Off, means only that language is in the maintenance mode.
